The Ombuds Program (Program) is an impartial resource for the public served by the work of the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC) in seeking information, discussing concerns and conflicts, and identifying possible resources. The Program will receive and evaluate complaints and suggestions (inquiries); track, analyze and report to the Board of Environmental Safety (BES), and render assistance as appropriate.
